Mom's 60th birthday

Sunday evening, Dad hosted a 60th birthday party for Mom. We surprised her by meeting at the church just down the road, and then driving on to the house with our car horns honking all together! It was getting late in the day, so she thought no one was going to throw her a party, or even acknowledge her birthday. She was really happy when she heard us all honking in celebration of her 60th.

Everyone had fun, and ate well too. Lisa, Myra, and Jeannie did the decorations and the cake, Mary brought some the greatest baked beans, and Jason grilled the steaks and hot dogs.

Family wedding

Lisa went to Chicago last weekend to attend her cousin's wedding. Dominic and Tania were married in the Chicago City Center downtown. It was a beautiful wedding with lots of family, drinks, food and fun. The bride was lovely and the groom was handsome as can be. It was so great to see everyone again.
