Little Miss Thing

Haley has been up to her mischievous little self. We have been working on potty training, but she refuses to play along. She'll sit forever reading books, and nothing. Then she stands at the sink to wash her hands, the warm water hits her and she lets loose on the step stool. They say that children take to it in their own time, but she is just stubborn. I'm close to resorting to bribing her with candy. How they can bring us to our knees.

She is adjusting to Hannah being back at school, and she misses her very much. But she does find it a perk to play in Hannah's room with the Barbies, uninterrupted.

Take me out to the ballgame

Saturday night we took in an Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball game in Little Rock with some friends. Even though the Travs lost, it was a good game. We did our best to take in all the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the ballpark. The kids ate hot dogs, cotton candy, peanuts, and even funnel cakes. After the game, they let all kids in the crowd run the bases.

How 'bout them Hogs?

Some of us are less than excited that Houston Nutt is still the Razorback football coach. Count Hannah and Daddy among those.

Mommy managed to get both of the girlies still long enough to take these shots.
