Relay for Life 2007

This past weekend was the 2007 Garland County Relay for Life at Oaklawn Park. Our team was able to raise $2500 this year through yard sales, spaghetti dinners, car washes, and generous donations from friends and family. And, something new for our team this year...check out the trophy we won for first place for having the best campsite of all the teams represented at this year's Relay.

Girls Weekend for Mom's 60th Birthday

We had a wonderful time celebrating Mom's 60th birthday in April. We had a girls weekend of messages, manicures, pedicures, and girly fun. We even made time to get our pictures taken.

Hannah's latest school pic

Hannah is just about to finish 1st grade, and we are so proud of her. She has been on the honor roll all year, as well as earning the Principal's Award for citizenship every 9 weeks. Not only is she beautiful, but she is smart and full of kindness.

Haley's 3rd Birthday

Haley's 3rd birthday was this Saturday afternoon at Pizza Shack. She got the Ariel cake she had been scoping out for several months, and got lots of cool stuff.

St. Patrick's Day 2007

St. Patrick's Day 2007 was a lot of fun for the Gloria family. We marched in the First Ever 4th Annual World's Shortest St. Patty's Day Parade in downtown Hot Springs. Jason and the girlies rode in Lito's '55 Chevy with Bank of America, while Lisa marched in support of Relay for Life. Mario Lopez was this year's Grand Marshall, and the above picture shows him autographing the Relay banner. After the parade the girls had a fun sleepover with Nana and Lito, while their parents (and friends) partook in the green beer tradition. A good time and ensuing hangover was had by all.

Haley drew a picture of Daddy today, and she had it ready for him when he came home from work. Isn't it the greatest?

Snow Day

Even though it didn't snow much more than an inch or two, the kids were thrilled to wake up and see white stuff all over the ground. We got out and played in it before it all melted away by noon or so. This was Haley's first time, and she loved it.
